What to Expect:

Booking

  • To Book, a tattoo request form MUST be submitted.

    Request forms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are answered on the 1st and 15th of each month.

    Need to knows:

    The deposit goes towards the total cost and varies depending on the service chosen.

    A consultation may be booked to discuss design details further and will require a $50 non-refundable booking fee to hold the date and time of the consultation.


    If a consultation is held, a seperate deposit is required to hold the appointment date.


    A final appointment confirmation will be emailed upon receipt of the deposit (refer to policies and terms of service)


    Clients must bring valid state identification to their appointment.

  • With each option, meditation, divination, and a tattoo are offered:

    half days: half session of medium custom ornamental pieces

    full days: 1 session large piece, large scale ornamental

  • A Sacred Session is a deeply personalized tattoo experience designed to combine meditation, divination, and the art of tattooing to create an energetic and spiritual transformation. It draws inspiration from ancestral healing practices rooted in the African diaspora and Indigenous Black American traditions, where elders or healers guide individuals toward resolution and renewal through rituals and intentional acts.

    During the session, we work together to “diagnose” the issue or intention you bring—whether it’s something you need, something you’re lacking, or something you hope to gain. The tattoo itself becomes the “cure,” a powerful and symbolic act of healing, self-discovery, and empowerment.

    Each session is unique because every individual’s journey is different. Through this sacred process, you’ll not only receive a tattoo that adorns your body but also the energy, clarity, and restoration needed to move forward in alignment with your goals or healing journey. It’s a holistic experience designed to restore balance and provide a meaningful, lasting transformation.

    At SoftHome, we take online privacy seriously and respect our clients and users. We will not use or share your personal information for any purpose other than the intended purpose.

    TERMS OF SERVICE


    MINIMUMS
    At SoftHome the minimum is $250/HR. A deposit is required to confirm your appointment. SoftHome has a strict NO REFUND POLICY.

    DESIGN FEES
    NO DESIGNING WILL HAPPEN UNTIL THE DEPOSIT IS PAID. Design fees depend on the complexity of design and other criteria. CONSULTATIONS ARE REQUIRED.

    QUOTES
    All quotes are estimated pending final review of desired design. For an accurate quote, please provide the required detail during the consultation. Custom designs require an additional fee. Please prepare for price adjustments of design details vary from the original quoted request. Cash payments are accepted to cover any price adjustments. Changes to the design must be confirmed prior the confirmed appointment.

    BOOKING FEES

    A deposit is required prior to appointment confirmation, and the amount varies based on the service chosen. The deposit must be paid at the time of booking to secure the appointment date and time. Clients will receive a text or email confirming their appointment once the deposit is received. Deposits are applied toward the total cost of the tattoo.

    PRICE FINALIZATION

    Once the price for a tattoo or service has been agreed upon during the consultation, it is considered final and cannot be altered under any circumstances. This policy ensures transparency and protects both the client and the artist from unexpected changes. Clients are encouraged to provide all necessary details during the consultation to receive an accurate quote. Any modifications to the design after the price is agreed upon must be discussed and confirmed prior to the appointment, with any applicable fees addressed before the work begins.

    DOWNGRADING

    Once the price for your tattoo is agreed upon (i.e. $2,500), the scope of work is expected to align with the agreed price. Requests to downgrade to a lower-priced service or package (i.e. $450) may result in forfeiture of your deposit, depending on the circumstances and the amount of work already completed or prepared. While we strive to accommodate reasonable adjustments, changes to the design or service must align with the original pricing tier and may not result in a reduction of the agreed price.

    RESCHEDULING POLICY

    Clients are allowed one reschedule without penalty, provided it adheres to the cancellation and rescheduling terms outlined in our policy. Should a second reschedule be requested, a new deposit equal to the original deposit amount will be required to secure the new appointment date and time. Please note, $100 of this second deposit will not be applied toward the remaining balance and will instead serve as a rescheduling fee. This policy ensures fairness and respects the time and preparation invested by the artist.

    CANCELLATIONS
    You are allowed up to 72 hours prior to your confirmed appointment to cancel with no cost. All cancellations within 72hrs of your confirmed appointment will result in a $50 re-booking fee.

    LATE FEES AND LATE CANCELLATIONS
    If you are 15 minutes beyond your scheduled appointment time you are considered late, and will be subject to an additional $50 late fee. If you are 25 minutes beyond the scheduled appointment time, your appointment will be canceled. 

    GUESTS
    All guests and children are not allowed to accompany you to your appointment for safety reasons and without explicit permission of the tattoo artist.

    Bringing additional guests or children to your confirmed appointment may result in a cancellation of said appointments and any payments will not be refunded.

    AGE REQUIREMENTS
    In accordance with Texas Penal, a client shall be at least 18 years of age to be offered or to receive a tattoo or permanent cosmetics application, regardless of parental consent.

    Pre-Session Preparation:

    In the days leading up to your appointment, we highly recommend prioritizing rest, hydration, and proper nutrition.

    Here are a few guidelines to follow:

    - Rest: Ensure you are well-rested in the days leading up to your session. Avoid staying up late, as being well-rested will help your body handle the physical stress of getting a tattoo.

    - Hydration: Drink plenty of water before your appointment. A well-hydrated body promotes better healing and helps your skin endure the tattoo process.

    - Nutrition: Eat a balanced meal before your session. Fasting or skipping meals is not recommended. Proper nutrition supports both your endurance during the session and the healing process afterward.

    - Avoid Substances: We advise against consuming alcohol, drugs, or any substances that could impair your body's ability to function optimally. These can negatively affect both the tattooing process and your body's healing response.

    These preparations will not only help you be fully present for your session but will also play a crucial role in how well your tattoo heals. Taking care of your body now is key to ensuring the best outcome.

  • HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR TATTOO


    Aftercare Instructions

    The healing process may take up to 30 days or longer to fully heal.

    Expect to experience some itchiness, soreness, redness, and possible fluid oozing from the tattoo. Your tattoo will be sanitized and covered with a bandage (derm shield) to protect your skin and prevent bacteria from getting into your fresh tattoo.

    You may remove the first bandage no later than 24 hours after application. Prior to removing the covering, wash your hands with warm water and an anti-bacterial soap (e.g., Dial anti-bacterial soap) & dry with a paper towel.

    After removing the first bandage and washing your hands, wash said tattoo with the antibacterial soap and dry with a paper towel. Apply new bandage for the following 4 days or use Aquaphor (ointment). Instructions may vary depending on the piece so please reach out to Soft Home if you're unsure!


    As your tattoo heals,

    DO:
    ·     Contact your tattoo artist if you have any questions or problems
    ·     Carefully wash your hands before touching the tattoo
    ·     Protect your tattoo from the sun by wearing protective clothing
    ·     Drink plenty of water

    DO NOT:
    ·     Pick at or scratch your tattoo
    ·     Use sunblock or sunscreen until your tattoo is fully healed
    ·     Go swimming or immerse your body in water other than to shower
    ·     Use petroleum-based products like Vaseline
